Empowering Families. Equipping Educators. Embracing ADHD.
Hi, I’m Mrs. C — an ADHD coach, educator, and parent with two M.EDs and a lifetime of lived experience navigating a world that didn’t quite understand me.
I’m part of the lost generation — those of us who spent decades feeling like something was “wrong,” but never having the words to explain it. I was told I was too loud, too sensitive, too much, too energetic. I was constantly bombarded with the “JUSTs”:
Just try harder. Just sit still. Just be quiet. Just be like everyone else.
But I wasn’t like everyone else.
And neither are the kids I now teach, coach, and advocate for every single day.
My mission is simple, but powerful:
To help parents and teachers understand that ADHD isn’t a flaw—it’s a different brain wiring that needs different tools, strategies, and support systems.
I believe every child with ADHD deserves a home and school environment that helps them thrive, not just survive. That’s why my work is twofold:
Heather holds two M.EDs, BFA, ADHD Certified Coach/Educator/ RYT200 and countless more.
She is a school counsellor and teacher for the past 25 +years and works with many students and their families who had ADHD. She was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 49 after a life time of misunderstanding and the central core belief that she was broken or flawed. With her diagnosis. Learning about her brain difference/disability transformed her life. Heather is passionate about ADHD education as with the proper education, training and skills - Life with ADHD can be AMAZING. She lives in the country on an acreage near Edmonton, Alberta Canada with her husband, children and 4 Golden Retrievers.
